It’s very sad to see that a man, Jeremy Valdez, killed multiple people in the Houston are while driving drunk.
More below.
A man is facing three murder charges following a crash in north Harris County early Saturday morning.
On Saturday, May 21, at 12:26 a.m., Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s office received a call in reference to a motor vehicle accident involving three fatalities.
Upon arriving, Deputy Constables immediately observed three individuals in one of the wrecked vehicles that were unconscious. Deputies immediately started CPR and first aid on one of the victims until emergency personnel arrived.
Unfortunately all three victims died as a result of their injuries in the accident.
Witnesses told investigators at the scene that the suspect — identified as Jeremy Valdez, 25, of Spring — was driving at a high rate of speed and ran a red light at FM 2920 and Kuykendaul when he struck the family.
Knowing how Harris County prosecutors are, they’ll probably come after him with murder 2 rather than intoxication manslaughter.
